Giving back to the search and rescue (SAR) community. IAMSAR Solutions hosted a free online SAR training seminar 14-15 May 2024 on the basics of SAR. We had an overwhelming response worldwide whereby over 90 representatives from 76 different SAR organizations attended. This was a tremendous success as attested by the endless positive feedback obtained from the participants. This course was designed to raise awareness of the duties and responsibilities of a Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) and the SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC). We are making a difference, one country at a time.
